The following is an extract from an email received by Alan Leech concerning the rollout of Superfast broadband and the problems people may be experiencing. If you wish to attend the surgery then a contact email is included below, together with the details you will need to provide.
Openreach wants to help people understand their broadband options: they may not see an estimated availability date on an on-line checker for example or they may have been told they’re out of scope of Superfast Cymru and want to understand their options. To that end, we’re holding a surgery for the people of Ceredigion between 12:00 and 17:00 in Meeting Room 2, Council Offices, Aberystwyth on 17th August to help. We invite your constituents to come along if they have a need to speak to someone. I’d be very grateful if you could contact your constituents and let them know this event is happening.
If people would like to come along, please could they drop an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with their:
· Phone number
· Email address
· Nature of their question
Depending on demand, we may allocate time slots and contact your constituents to ensure there’s not too much of a rush/queue.
As you can see, I have written to your Assembly Member/Member of Parliament opposite number as you may both receive correspondence.
